Classic green cleansing juice or smoothie


Ingredients

Juice

2 celery sticks

Half small fennel bulb

Handful of kale (remove stalks), spinach, watercress or lettuce leaves

1 small  apple

1 small lemon or lime

Handful of parsley

Smoothie

1 celery stick

Handful of kale

1 small apple - chopped and cored

1 lime squeezed

Handful of parsley/cilantro or mint

 


Method

For the juice, wash and and chop all the veg/fruit and run through the juicer.  Drink immediately or pour into a glass jar or flask and keep in the fridge for up to 48 hours.

For the smoothie, wash all the vegetables, apple and herbs, chop and place in blender. Add the juice from the lemon or lime, add some water and blend. Drink immediately or pour into a glass jar or flask and keep in the fridge for up to 48 hours.
