Human beings are hugely complex and our nervous, immune and endocrine systems communicate via a sophisticated chemical alchemy. Our food as well as our environment, which includes life experiences, thoughts, beliefs and emotions, affect this alchemical composition. 



Mind, body, spirit interactions with our physiology are therefore significant and when we become conscious of these and how they manifest in our body’s biology, we can take steps to generate new signals, to change and upgrade cellular function. Chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease and autoimmunity often have their root causes in metabolic processes, governed by our autonomic nervous system.
Biophysics tells us that your body is 99.99% space. Science has always believed that this space and our autonomic or ‘automatic’ nervous system are beyond conscious control. But when we create coherence in our bodies through breathing correctly and developing our heart rate variability we can influence the electro magnetic field emanating from our body, enhancing cellular function and creating health at a very intrinsic level.

Nutrition provides our bodies with the raw materials to nourish and sustain the matrix of our body. I look to see where in the diet or lifestyle I can make changes to anything that is causing problems, to nourish and support systems that require it. The mental, emotional and spiritual aspects can often be addressed through the breath and the heart.

Breathwork

I teach breathwork to my clients as it gives them the tools to handle their stress and works on mental and emotional health. It also improves digestion, circulation and oxygenation of the body which can help to transform physical function via the autonomic nervous system. Time spent on the breath is never wasted.
